The BNMIT Library & Information Centre (UG level) is aesthetically housed in a round building with adequate space and good ambience having a total seating capacity of 105 students. It has a total document collection of 16,630 volumes of reference books & textbooks with 3,895 titles, 150 project reports, 250 bound volumes of technical journals and 746 non-book formats like learning CDROMS. The Library currently subscribes to more than 53 technical journals of national and international repute. The lush green garden around the building has created an excellent atmosphere for study purpose. 

The Library  & Information Centre intends to offer comprehensive services related to dissemination of knowledge in augmenting traditional print resources with expanding Electronic Resources and Technologies. Under INDEST consortium the Library provides On-line access to E-resources of IEEE Digital Library full-text journals with a download facility. The Library  Information Centre has fully automated and all the transactions are being given through the Bar-Code interface including searching of books through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). The Digital Signature Pad is the unique one and interfaced in its Circulation Section to obtain signature digitally for the documents that is being issued to its members. In addition to this, Receipt Printer is also interfaced for issue of computer generated fine receipts. All the documents have been classified as per AACR II of Dewey Decimal Classification and systematically shelved on Open Access.  

The modern Library & Information Centre provides uncompromising information and intellectual requirements to its students and faculty with an user-friendly approach. It offers a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic study. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available in Reference Section and Sock Section as well. Beside this, it provides Lending of books and journal back volumes, reservation of books, photocopying, CD-ROM and Internet services, etc.,

The Library  Information Centre has a British Council Library membership enabling students and staff to refer to the other member libraries for additional information for their research / projects.   

To cater to the wide range of information services to the users, BNMIT Library   Information Centre has well qualified, rich experienced and trained competent staff comprising 6 Professionals, 3 Supporting staff members with an aim and vision to make the Library  Information Centre the best Knowledge Resource Centre among engineering colleges Libraries in the state. 

In the proximity of Library building the Digital Library has been set up to access the e-resources and Institutional Repositories like e-books, e-journals, faculty publications and previous year university question papers, etc.

The BNMIT School of Management Studies Library (PG level) has a total collection of 3,387 volumes of text & reference books with 856 titles, 347 non-book formats and several micro documents. It subscribes to 35 National International reputed journals.  In addition to this the library has the IIM-B Library membership to access the additional resources.
