The BNM Friends of Nature Club has about 300 student members.
They are exposed to adventure sports of
· Para Sailing
· Hill Climbing
· Trekking
· Water Sports
· Evironmental Awareness Programs
· Tree Planting
· Bird Watching field trips
· Wilderness Camps etc.
along with regular audio visual programs and screening of Green Oscar Award winning films and documentations of Wild Life Conservation and Environment Protection.
In the recent past the BNM Friends of Nature Club has organized Nature Camps at
Bannerughatta, Bandipur, Mudhumalai, Mutthodi (Bhadra), B.R. Hills, Nagarahole, Kokkare Bellur, Yaana, Karwar, etc.
For the current year 2008-09 the club is proposing to conduct the nature camp at Madhumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Cave exploration near Ooty, Moonlight trekking in the Singur range of the Nilgiri Bioshpere reserve forest.
The club is also proposing to conduct an awareness program on

· "Stop the Crackers"
· "Adopt a Stray Dog" to help control Street Dog Menace
· "Encourage Backyard Composting & Promote Organic Farming"
