In addition, I would like to stress on the strategic partnerships BNMIT has like the Campus Connect Programme of Infosys, our Memorandum of Understanding with University of Sunderland, UK , recognition by M/s Caritor – Keane as their Platinum partner and so on.

BNMIT offers its students possibility of coming out of the portals with a dual degree, one from the VTU and the other from IETE (Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers). We have plans to start IETE study centre at BNMIT that will offer coaching during the weekends.
 
Our greatest strength lies with our faculty members. They have contributed to the framing of syllabus of VTU, IETE and KSOU (Karnataka State Open University). They have authored books that have been prescribed by VTU and other Universities. We are proud of the guest lectures they have delivered in Indian as well as foreign universities, EDUSAT (Educational Satellite) programme of VTU, and Multinational companies.

We are well known for organizing National and International Conferences, on a regular basis in association with premier institutions like the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. 

Research centers in the departments of Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, and Mathematics are proposed to be started by February 2008. The institution has plans to get ISO 9001 certification and accreditation by National Board of Accreditation during 2008. The institution has its well-formulated Master plan guiding its future. It has plans to start Postgraduate programmes in various disciplines, obtain autonomous status and enroll foreign students at all levels of UG, PG, and Doctoral studies in the next few years. The management, staff and students are all contributing their mite very enthusiastically to reach our goals and we are confident of our success.
