National Service Scheme (NSS)

The youth and sports wing of Government of India encourages students to participate in service activities.  NSS Unit of BNMIT takes pride in it’s students participating in many service activities.  They include observance of national days, conduction of awareness programs and conduction of service programs. As many as 110 students of BNMIT are proud participants. Through these programs BNMIT-NSS inculcates in students a spirit of belonging to the society around them, teach them leadership skills, develop communication skills and encourage them to be a good human being.

BNMIT-NSS is ably lead by Dr. A. Pranesha Setty, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, as its program officer and supported by the management of BNMIT for a worthy cause.
