National Service Scheme (NSS)

The youth and sports wing of Government of India encourages students to participate in Social Service activities.  The NSS Unit of BNMIT takes pride in its students, participating in many service activities.  They include observance of National Festivals, conduct of awareness programs and service programs. More than100 students of BNMIT are proud volunteers in this endeavor. Through these programs, The NSS wing of BNMIT inculcates among the students, a spirit of belongingness to the society around them, teach them leadership skills, develop communication skills and encourage them to be good human beings, blessed with all the desirable attributes that may make the society a vibrant and dynamic place to live in.

BNMIT-NSS is ably led by Dr. A. Pranesha Setty, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, as its program officer supported by the management of BNMIT for a worthy cause.
