DESCRIPTION:The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering\, in association with the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC)\, MetiSkill\, and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society\, organised a Technical Talk on “Skill-Based Learning in Aerospace and Aviation Sector.”\nThe session focused on enhancing students’ understanding of the evolving skill requirements and industry expectations in the aerospace and aviation domains. The talk was delivered by Mr. Sangharakshaka V P\, CEO (officiating)\, AASSC\, and Flt Lt Poornima M (Retd)\, COO\, MetiSkill Global Solutions. Both speakers brought rich industry experience and provided deep insights into current trends\, competency frameworks\, and opportunities available for engineering graduates in the aerospace and aviation sector. The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and hands-on skill development by highlighting career pathways\, industry-aligned skill sets\, and the significance of continuous professional development.
