The primary objective of the workshop was to familiarize students with MongoDB\, a NoSQL database. The event under the coordination of Dr. Amith Shekhar\, Associate professor\, witnessed the active participation from 140 students from the fourth semester of the CSE department. Mr. Rakesh K Ramaswamy\, a seasoned Corporate Trainer from Mysuru Trainer and Developers\, along with his team of two members\, was invited as the resource person for the workshop. \nThis hands-on experience with MongoDB and its applications proved to be enlightening for the participants\, introducing them to new technological tools and techniques. The students expressed their positive feedback about the event. They found the workshop immensely useful and insightful\, enhancing their understanding of MongoDB and its practical applications.

SUMMARY:Applied Deep Learning
DESCRIPTION:Applied Deep Learning mini-course offered by Nishanth Shetty at BNMIT covered the basics of deep learning\, introduced the popular deep learning library PyTorch\, and taught the students to solve regression and classification problems with linear and logistic regression\, respectively. They were also introduced to neural networks and their application to solving classification and regression problems\, the famous bias-variance tradeoff from supervised learning and tools to combat it with regularization. The course ended with an introduction to convolutional neural networks to solve image classification problems. The course was mostly hands-on\, with the students being encouraged to solve a lot of exercises to help them ‘grok’ the concepts taught.  \n

DESCRIPTION:About Workshop:\nParticipants  gained knowledge on Project management and recent trends applications like NLP\, AIML and Deep Learning concepts. Discussed project planning and managing\, short-term goals\, skill knowledge tools and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.   \nDiscussed 7 steps of the project:   \n\n Define goals and objectives\n Set success matrix\n Clarify stakeholders and rules\n Set your budget\n Align your milestone deliverable and project dependence\n Outline your timeline and schedule\n Share your communication plan \n\nProject management\, Planning and Risk to be identified and how to handle have been explained in detail. The resource person explained the 5 phases of project management which are Initiation\, Planning\, Execution\, Control\, and SLA – Service Level Agreement. Also\, he gave insight on Cost estimation\, Cost budgeting\, Cost Control\, Scrum Master\, impediments\, product owners\, burn up\, burn down\, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). He gave tips for improving project performance. The resource person concluded the importance of the software project’s performance\, measurement analysis and finance management.

The goal of ICIITCEE 2024 is to provide an outstanding forum for academicians\, researchers\, practitioners\, policymakers\, and students to exchange ideas\, techniques and tools\, raise awareness\, and share experiences related to all practical and theoretical aspects of intelligence and innovations in engineering.
