DESCRIPTION:The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering\, in association with The Institution of Engineers (India) – Student Chapter\, organized a Poster Presentation on “Real-Time Application of AIML for Image and Signal Processing.” The event was conducted in collaboration with the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS)\, IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS)\, and IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS). The two-day poster presentation provided a platform for students to showcase innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in domains such as image enhancement\, medical imaging\, object detection\, radar signal analysis\, pattern recognition\, and real-time signal processing.\nParticipants demonstrated their technical understanding\, creativity\, and problem-solving skills through visually engaging posters and real-time demonstrations. The event encouraged interdisciplinary learning and helped students understand how AIML techniques are reshaping engineering solutions in healthcare\, satellite imaging\, automation\, and communication systems. Healthcare experts from Sagar Chandramma Hospitals\, including Sri. Paniel J\, Manager – Medical Services\, and Dr. Sonali Pulse\, Physician\, led the screening camp. They provided on-site medical evaluations\, awareness on preventive health practices\, and guidance on early detection measures. The camp emphasized the importance of routine health checkups\, lifestyle management\, and awareness in improving long-term wellbeing for women. The initiative helped students\, faculty\, and staff gain clarity on maintaining holistic health and encouraged proactive participation in wellness activities. The talk was delivered by Dr. Pushpa Srinivas\, MBBS\, DGO\, FICS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)\, Sagar Hospital & Agadi Hospital. With extensive clinical experience\, Dr. Pushpa provided valuable insights on identifying early symptoms\, lifestyle considerations\, self-examination techniques\, and the role of timely medical intervention.\nHer interaction with participants helped dispel common myths and encouraged a proactive approach toward women’s health. The session highlighted the significance of awareness\, early diagnosis\, and supportive healthcare practices in combating breast cancer.
