Research Centre details of Physics department

The Department of Physics is recognized as a research centre to offer Ph.D. degree under VTU. Currently there are three research guides, having expertise in the areas of  Spectroscopy , Material Science and Nanotechnology.

The Research Laboratory is equipped with the basic experimental facilities like UV-absorption spectrometer, Microbalance, Magnetic stirrer with hot plate, Ultrasonicator, Hot air oven and Gaussian – 09  software, “BOD Incubator and Centrifuge”.
