The Department has highly experienced and committed faculty to disseminate knowledge to the students in a befitting manner, clubbed with necessary Mathematical Skills.
Owing to this reason, the excellent results are recorded consistently. The students are reaping rich dividends in the domain of engineering. The Department has a Research Centre, recognized by the Visvesvaraya Technology University, Belgavi, where research activities are done in the areas of Fluid Mechanics and Graph theory. It has also conducted 4 International Conferences in the areas of thrust successfully that brought laurels to the college.

Dear Learners!
Always trust your instincts and believe in your abilities. Nobody is perfect. You can always learn from your mistakes. Your perseverance will certainly help you to succeed in life. Mathematics will surely make you subtle learners because it trains you to go ahead with clear concepts and so, it is the first step to execute things in a befitting manner. I really know you as promising students, blessed with latest technology that can do miracle in life. Remember! Mathematical mind can understand, interpret and analyze any concept beyond any shadow of doubt.
Albert Einstein had once said: “Don’t worry about your difficulties in Mathematics. I can assure you that mine were still greater.”
So, always have a growth mindset in life and learn to think, move and collaborate and be an inspiration for others too. Sensitize others and get sensitized. Always endeavor to realize your strength and limitations and hone them accordingly. Obstacles will always come in life at each and every step but do remember my advice that hardships and obstacles are not meant to be evaded but to be mastered. Trust me! You can fashion your fate; the way you want to. My good wishes and blessings will always be there with you.

During online classes if we are unable to understand any topic they are ready to teach us once again. And talking specially about math department , it is just amazing. The faculty of math department are more than just teachers . They have been our mentors, support and guide. To be honest, I was under the same opinion when I first joined BNMIT.Things got pretty clear when we were introduced to the faculties of MATH department.
