About COE
The Assessment cell has been established to monitor the Assessments and Evaluation Process, considering it an important academic activity in an Autonomous Institution, headed by COA/COE. The Controller of Examination shall be responsible for the smooth conduct of assessments, collection, and scrutiny of question papers, processing of answer scripts, and evaluation with confidentiality. The Assessment processes follow the guidelines of the Assessment Manual, approved by The Academic Council. The Assessment System has been fully automated, starting from the generation of question paper on the tab on the day of the examination, exactly at the time of the commencement of exams to the printing of grade cards.
Digital Examination
BNMIT has introduced the Paperless Examination and Digital Evaluation from 2020-21 for the autonomous batch to adopt new technology and save the environment. At the college, Specially Designed High-End Devices, with Special Surface for a writing experience are given to students. Ruled, unruled, graph, and semi-graph sheets are available to help students answer questions well. This system has a good response from the student community. Maintenance of internal exams and examination data is much easier and more secure. Valuation and tabulation have also been made easier for faculty, as compared to the conventional methods.
