Instrumentation and software knowledge: 

  • Handled several reactions like Grignard Reactions, friedel–crafts acylation, Halogenation Reactions, Benzylation, Debenzylation Reactions, Esterification Reactions, Fischer  Indole  synthesis,  Hydrogenation Reactions , Reduction Reactions,(using Pd/C, NaBH4, NaCNBH3, LiAlH4, Raney Nickel), Claisen  Rearrangement, Suzuki- Miyaura Coupling etc.  Moreover I have a good knowledge in handling and quenching of many toxic chemicals. 
  • I  have  knowledge  of   checking  the  Reaction, column fraction   from  TLC  by  choosing  the   appropriate   mobile  phases. 
  • Purification  of   intermediates,   final  products  by   column  chromatography  and also  by  Recrystalisation  methods.  To get 99+ % purity of final product. 
  • Analytical standard drug impurity synthesis, where I have synthesized drug impurities which are analytically standard in 5-10g-scales. Even I have experience in handling reactions in large scale (50-200gm). 
  • I have synthesized the analytical grade impurities of drugs like Naproxen, Meloxicam, Propafenone, Tizanidine , Oxprenolol, Bisoprolol,  etc. 
  • Knowledge of GC-MS, HPLC, and LC-MS for characterization of organic compounds & even handled all instruments in R&D lab. 
  • Capable of interpreting spectral data of organic molecules by NMR, FTIR, LC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, etc. 
  • Experience in searching literature through various search engines like, Sci – finder, Reaxys, Pharmaceutical substances, Therasa and different patent websites. 
  • Knowledge of using Chem Draw, Chem sketch, ISIS Draw, and origin software.

  • I have achieved  100%  result  in  15CIV18 Environmental  Studies in PES Institute of Technology, Bengaluru – 100,  for  Sem-I,  BE– CSE-B in the VTU  exams  conducted during Dec2015/ Jan 2016.
