Description about Research and Development center
The Department of Chemistry has been recognized as research Centre in the year 2016 to offer Ph.D. degree under VTU. Currently there are five research guides, having expertise in the areas of Material Science, Synthetic organic chemistry, Medicinal chemistry and Nanotechnology.
The Research Centre Objectives is to
- Publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborating with other scientific disciplines to tackle complex problems.
- Organizing conferences and workshops
- Securing patents and protecting intellectual property to promote innovation.
- Adhering to high ethical standards in all research activities.
