• Authored 15 text Books in Mechanical Engineering.
• Designed and fabricated some laboratory equipment/machines through student projects with the financial support of Management. Some of them are: a) Fatigue Testing Machine b) Electric Furnace c) Governor d) Whirling of Shaft, etc.
• Has been guiding many undergraduate projects (More than 35) regularly since 1986. Guided 6 M.Tech Projects & Guiding 3 Ph.Ds and all of them have received their doctoral degree.
• Participated as BOE, BOS, Governing Council etc.
• Successfully completed AICTE funded project.
• Subject Expert for VTU Edusat program for the courses Mechanics of Materials and Design of Machine Elements.
• Worked as a member of AICTE project evaluating committee.
• Worked as Chairperson and Co-ordinater for several international and national conferences.
• Given several invited/guest lectures in colleges as well as industries.
• Received state award for academic excellence and also honoured as the Best Teacher in engineering from Bangalore South Constituency.
• Participated as Panel member for selection & promotions in various institutions and industries such as BEL, ISRO etc.
• Participated as faculty in charge (guide) for the Project titled “Design and Fabrication of Pipe Inspection & Maintenance Device”, which was carried out as a part of final year project work by my project group. Students had secured place in top 10 groups across the country among 27states and 5780 groups of students in a competition conducted by QUEST Ingenium Group on 13th-16th September 15 at Sterling Mac, Bangalore.
