Innovative Teaching Methods:

The use of innovative methods in educational institutions has the potential to improve education and also to empower people, strengthen governance and galvanize the effort to achieve the human development goal for the country.

The Department of ME follows Innovative teaching methods that involve using creative methods and teaching-learning materials for the benefit of students. A variety of modern tools are used to ensure that each student is fully engaged in learning and is interactive in classrooms.

» Crosswords of Elements of Mechanical Engineering

» Model Demonstration on Geneva Mechanism

» Quiz Comprehension on Heat Transfer

» Quiz Comprehension on Mechanical Measurements Metrology

» Model Demonstration on Pick and Place Robot

» Demonstration of Data Logger during Lab Visit

Skill Development program:

Skills development is the process of identifying the skill gaps in students from the perspective of the current Industry standards, and helping students develop and hone these skills. Skills and knowledge development are the driving forces behind growth and development of any student. Skill building is a powerful tool to empower students and improve their social acceptance. Skill development programs raises confidence, improves competency of students through focused outcome based learning.

Skill based learning focuses on increasing employ-ability of students through series of inputs to:

  • Equip students with appropriate hands-on skills which help them to be industry ready.
  • Core focus on technical skills leading to specialization, thereby increasing efficacy of the student.

Each department identifies the core competent, current areas in which the student can develop their skills. Students of any department can opt for any of the verticals identified by any of the department. The details of the verticals identified by Mechanical Engineering Department “SOLIDWORKS™and GD&T”
