AIML- Center of Excellence in AR & VR Technologies
The CoE was inaugurated by Sri. Hitesh Garg, Vice President and India Country Manager NXP Semiconductors and the guest of honor was Sri. Srikanth K Avadhani, Co-founder and CEO, Rayvector and RGEM. Sri Hitesh Garg appreciated BNMIT for the collaboration with industries working for latest technologies. Sir highlighted the applications of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and how BNMIT is motivating students to involve in developing applications in such technologies. Application of ARVR into education sector was also appreciated.
.This CoE aims:
- To develop advanced technology capabilities
- Equip students with real-world skills in AI, AR/VR/XR
- Develop emerging technologies like data science, blockchain, design thinking and other emerging tools and practices.

Center of Excellence in Cyber Securities
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Cyber Security, established by the AIML Department in collaboration with Pragya Cyber Pvt. Ltd., aims to strengthen industry–academia collaboration by providing students with practical exposure to cybersecurity technologies, hands-on training, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, AI-driven cybersecurity, research and innovation. The CoE is intended to develop industry-ready cybersecurity skills, promote collaborative research, encourage student projects and certifications, and create opportunities for interaction with cybersecurity professionals, thereby bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry requirements.
Objectives of COE:
- Aims to establish a dedicated platform for cybersecurity education, research, innovation, practical skill development, and industry collaboration. Its key purposes are:
- To provide hands-on training in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, digital forensics, network security, and secure software development.
- To promote research and innovation in emerging areas such as AI-driven security, cloud security, IoT security, blockchain security, and cyber threat intelligence
