Centre of Excellence in Electric Vehicle Technology [CoE-EVT] Venue: AB004, Auditorium building, BNMIT
BNMIT has inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in Electric Vehicle Technology [CoE-EVT] on 25/04/2023 in the campus. The main intention of establishing COE-EVT is to conduct global internships, skill development programs, and training programs and also to carry out research activities for both students and faculty members in the domain of EVT. The laboratory has equipped with a battery pack design using battery management systems. The research team had already designed basic models of two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers under NewGen IEDC, DST, Govt. of India research funds. The CoE-EVT has future plans to design green cars by tapping renewable energy sources and also autonomous cars using artificial intelligence and machine learning tools for the intelligent operation of the whole system.
