A dedicated academician and researcher committed to strengthening the research culture of the institute. With strong expertise in electronics, electrical engineering, and interdisciplinary research, she actively encourages research among faculty and students.   

Dr. Bindu S has wide experience of 30 Years in teaching and research guidance with research interests in conducting polymers, nano and flexible materials, antennas, biomedical applications, IoT, and VLSI Technologies. Her work has resulted in more than 70 + quality research publications indexed in scopus and Web of Science, 7 patents, 1 copyright, and practical prototypes addressing real world problems.

As Research and Development Head, she supports faculty and research scholars in developing research proposals, securing funded projects, publishing in reputed journals and collaborating with industry. She strives to build a research-rich ecosystem at BNMIT where innovation, collaboration, and societal impact go hand in hand, enabling faculty and students to contribute effectively to technology and society.
