The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.N.M. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, organized a hackathon titled “LifeLine: Alerts That Can’t Wait” in association with the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS). The hackathon aimed to encourage students to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world healthcare and emergency alert challenges. Participants worked collaboratively to conceptualize and design technology-driven solutions that could enable timely alerts and effective communication during medical emergencies.Through this hands-on event, students enhanced their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and creativity while applying their knowledge of electronics and communication technologies to healthcare applications. The hackathon provided a platform for students to explore interdisciplinary ideas and contribute towards socially impactful technological innovations.
