The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.N.M. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, organized a Field/Exposure Visit to ISRO U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru in association with the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), The Institution of Engineers (IEI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

The visit was organized with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to India’s space research ecosystem and enabling them to understand real-world applications of electronics and communication engineering in satellite and space technologies. The program offered design, development, and testing processes involved in satellite systems and space missions.

During the visit, students explored various aspects of satellite technology, advanced engineering practices, and the interdisciplinary approach adopted in aerospace and space applications. The experience helped participants connect classroom concepts with industrial and research-oriented applications while enhancing their understanding of emerging opportunities in the space sector.

The exposure visit encouraged students to develop an interest in innovation, research, and advanced technologies, motivating them to pursue higher studies and careers in space science and related engineering domains.
