The five-day training programme titled ‘eMBArk’, to be held from October 25 to October 28, will be carried out by experts who will train the students on various aspects of the tests and will equip them with necessary tricks and tips to achieve good ranking.
‘eMBArk will be conducted in a structured manner to ensure maximum benefit to the students in short time. We will train the students in all four sections of PGCET and KMAT, namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English Language and General Knowledge,’ informed Dr. Mukund Sharma, HoD, Department of Business Administration, BNMIT.
The idea is to attract students with desired aptitude for the business world and polish them further through a rigorous training to help them achieve their goals.
‘eMBArk is part of BNMIT’s Institutional Social Responsibility. Our goal is to attract good talent and shape them through this training. In the process, we also aim to help students from rural settings and poor income families. There are many aspirants who have the aptitude to excel in these examinations but are left behind due to the lack of resources. This training is meant to bridge that gap,’ said Prof. Eishwar N. Maanay, Dean, BNMIT.
As a part of the training, a mock test will also be conducted to help students access their strengths and weaknesses and to zero in on the areas they need to improve.
‘We will walk the participants through the pattern of the examinations, teach them the art of time management to solve the papers quickly, train them on the nuances of different sections and equip them with the strategy to ace the tests. They will also solve previous years’ question papers to get a better understanding,’ said Dr. Mukund.
eMBArk will be followed up by a day-long crash course just before PGCET scheduled on November 13 and 14.
