Bootcamp on “Ride Wise & Safe: Road Safety Bootcamp for Empowering Girl Riders”

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized a Bootcamp on “Ride Wise & Safe: Road Safety Bootcamp for Empowering Girl Riders” in association with IIC-BNMIT & Triguna-The Science of Living, A CSR initiative of Aavas Financiers Ltd. & DCP Traffic South Bangalore on 29th Jan 2026, in offline mode, with 270 students, 50 faculty members, and 35 external participants taking part. The program aimed to create awareness about road safety rules, traffic signs, legal responsibilities, and defensive riding techniques, while empowering girl students with safe and responsible riding practices. The bootcamp included interactive sessions on traffic regulations, causes of road accidents, helmet usage, and the importance of safety gear, supported by real-life case studies and discussions. The event encouraged responsible road behavior, confidence, and independence among girl riders, while promoting a culture of road discipline and civic responsibility. The program concluded with the message “Safety First – Every Ride Matters,” and helmets were distributed to all participating female students to reinforce the importance of protective gear and safe riding habits.
