The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, in association with IEEE Bangalore Section, IEEE BNMIT, and the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Student Branch Chapter, organized the Geospatial Industry Conclave – 2025, a flagship event aimed at bridging academia with rapidly evolving geospatial and remote sensing industries.

The conclave brought together leading experts from organizations such as DRDO, ISRO, Satsure, MapMyIndia, Urban Kissan, GalaxEye, and Vantor, who shared their insights on emerging technologies, applications, and future directions in geospatial intelligence.
The sessions covered diverse domains including satellite data analytics, Earth observation, precision agriculture, mapping technologies, radar applications, and startup innovations in the geospatial ecosystem.
