The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized Technical Talk on “On the Way to Autonomous Mobility” in association with BNMIT-ISTE Student Chapter and BNMIT-IEEE conducted on October 20, 2022, in Seminar Hall-M309 for 150 students. The session was delivered by Mr. Arun Shankar K, Head of Innovation at Continental Automotive, who shared insights into the advancements and future of autonomous vehicle technology. The seminar covered key topics such as automated driving systems, sensor technologies used in self-driving vehicles, challenges in implementing autonomous mobility in India, and the importance of explainable AI in ensuring transparency and safety. The session provided students with valuable industry perspectives on emerging trends and real-world challenges in autonomous transportation
