The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized an Technical Talk on “Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Startups” in association with IIC-BNMIT on 1^st August 2025, in offline mode, with 60 students and 5 faculty members participating. The program aimed to educate students about various startup funding sources, financial management strategies, and effective business planning, helping them understand how to prepare investor pitch decks and sustainable financial models. The resource person shared practical insights, real-world case studies, and information on government startup funding schemes, enabling students to gain knowledge of budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control techniques. The session also encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, networking with industry experts, and confidence in developing business plans, helping students better prepare for startup ventures and careers in entrepreneurship and business development.
