 The event aimed to provide participants with fundamental knowledge about AWS and hands-on experience in setting up and configuring Amazon EC2 instances for web hosting. The workshop covered essential topics such as the client-server model, creating EC2 instances, connecting to instances, and configuring servers for website hosting using both Windows and Linux instances.
