The PG program run by the department of EEE is intended to provide the knowledge of digital system and power electronics for drive applications. The department has class rooms with ICT facility for PG programs. A well equipped lab is available to cater to the practical learning for the students.

The facilities available for the PG program are

1. Access to IEEE and reputed Journals and conference proceedings
2. Internet facility with 50 MBPS speed
3. Drives lab with modules designed and developed indigenously by faculty of the department
4. R&D centre with several electrical parameters analyzing devices such as Power Quality Analyzer and Digital Storage Oscilloscope are available for project activities.

The department is headed by Dr. Mukesh Patil. He has a teaching experience of 18 years in the field of Mechanical engineering. He obtained his B.E. degree from Mysore University. He is a Gold Medalist in M.Tech from VTU, Belagavi. He obtained his Ph.D. from VTU, Belagavi in Thermal Engineering under the guidance of Dr.K.N.Seetharamu and Dr.Pradeep G. Hegde. He is actively involved in research activities in the field of Thermal Engineering. He has published 04 research papers in international journals and has presented papers in 02 international conferences. His areas of interest include thermodynamics, heat transfer, porous materials, fluidics, and energy engineering.
