After landing that dream job, Varshini Vijay is all set to begin her new journey and only sky is her limit.

Varshini Vijay, a 21-year-old BNMITian, is on cloud nine! Any why not? Varshini has managed to land her dream job, an aspiration that was always on her radar. She dreamt of working in a tech giant global company and with her sheer dedication and perseverance, has made her dream come true!

Varshini is elated to join Walmart Global Tech India with an astonishing package.

‘I am extremely delighted to be a part of the number one company on Fortune 500 list. It still feels surreal, and I get goosebumps when I think of it. I often dreamt of working at top companies of the World and today I can say my dream has definitely come true’, says a visibly ecstatic Varshini, who adds that it was her interest for problem-solving and her passion towards coding that kept her going.

‘I enjoy coding and absolutely relish to solve problems through my codes. I was lucky to be guided by one of my friends with the preparation strategies and tips. YouTube and Geeksforgeeks played a major role in learning and understanding different concepts. Last but not the least, the endless support and motivation from my family has been a constant driving force,’ says Varshini.

Probe the youngster on her journey at BNMIT and pat comes the reply. ‘I had wonderful teachers at BNMIT, who made sure my fundamentals are solid. I got a lot of support from my peer group on the campus as well. And the icing on the cake was the Placement Cell that helped me strengthen my aptitude and provided various opportunities to learn and grow through assessments and interviews. I feel lucky to be a part of this institute,’ adds Varshini.

While the beginning has been rocking for this Bangalorean, the aspirations have not faded. ‘I want to keep my personal and professional growth continuous while also having fun. In future, I see myself working for some of my other favorite leading tech giants like Google and Facebook,’ says Varshini, who believes that there is no substitute to hard work.

‘It is totally okay to fail but one must make sure to use the lessons learnt to mend oneself and to not repeat the same. Hard work and consistency are the key. If you are stuck, don’t hesitate to ask for help. Always know that you will get there, but just keep hustling for it,’ she concludes.
