GLOBAL IMMERSION PROGRAM TO MALAYSIA

On 7th December, 2024, MBA students from BNM Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Euro Global, embarked on a 6-day study tour to Malaysia. The group of 22 students visited two prestigious universities: Multimedia University (MMU) and University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL). At MMU, students engaged with professors and students, learning about advanced educational programs and technology-driven initiatives, including AI development. Students were addressed by Senior Prof. Dr. Aziz, who shared insights on courses and Malaysia’s education system, followed by a campus tour and witnessing a graduation ceremony. Students also visited Ajinomoto’s Cyberjaya factory, gaining knowledge on global operations and sustainability in the production of MSG.

On the final day, students explored UniKL, located within the Quill City Mall, where students attended a lecture on Semiotics in Marketing, highlighting the influence of culture on marketing. In addition to academic visits, students explored Kuala Lumpur’s iconic landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers, Independence Square, Chinatown, and Batu Caves. The trip offered a perfect blend of academic learning, cultural immersion, and exploration of Malaysia’s natural beauty.

GLOBAL IMMERSION PROGRAM

The Global Immersion Programme at BNM Institute of Technology (BNMIT) offers an opportunity for interested students to participate in an international educational tour for a duration of 9 days. Through this programme, students visit various countries, interact with universities, experience global academic environments, and engage in city tours and sightseeing at prominent locations.

For the year 2025, the Global Immersion Programme was organized in collaboration with Euro Global Education Private Limited, a Pune-based travel agency. The agency managed all necessary arrangements including visa processing, flight bookings, travel insurance, itinerary planning, accommodation, university visits, and meals.

A total of 19 students, one faculty member, and one tour operator participated in the programme. The team visited Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka over a period of nine days, from 6th October 2025 to 14th October 2025, spending two days in Singapore, four days in Malaysia, and one day in Sri Lanka.

The group assembled at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (Terminal 2) at 6:00 PM. After check-in at the Sri Lankan Airlines counter, the team completed immigration and security formalities and boarded the flight to Colombo at 9:30 PM. The flight duration was approximately one hour, followed by a layover of three hours at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo

Auston Institute of Management, Singapore

In its endeavors to provide world class exposure to its students, the Department of Business Administration, BNM Institute of Technology in association with Auston Institute of Management and World1 Solutions organized an Internship Study Tour to Singapore for its MBA 2018-2020 batch of 19 students from January 26 to February 22, 2020.

The tour benefited the budding managers to immerse them in another culture, experience the challenges and opportunities facing organizations around the world. It also extended global awareness and enhanced international perspective as a management graduate. During the tour, students attended the lectures on Research Methods, Change Management and Project Management at Auston Institute of Management. Students also attended a talk on Entrepreneurial Journey at Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The students were attached to different companies based on their specialization. Some of the companies in which the students did their internship were BGC Group, Manulife, Big 3 Media, Eagles Connect Pte Ltd, 2359 Media and SmecenPte Ltd. The students went to the companies and met the HR of the respective companies. The internal guides of the companies were very cordial. They provided the students with necessary details to prepare the report as per the VTU syllabus.

The last phase of the Internship Study tour was the presentations by the students. The students had visited the companies which had been allotted to them where they had gathered data pertaining to their specialization. The data gathered was analyzed and presented at the Auston Institute of Management. The presentations were followed by distribution of certificates on successful completion of their projects and concluded with a photo session at the Institute.

Ripo (Republic of Belarus)

The Internship Programme started from January 19 ,2018 with an official visit by the team to RIPO office. On the January 22, 2018, the team enjoyed a Grand Welcome by the RIPO University Rector Dr. Valery Golubovsky, duly accompanied by Hon’ble Minister for Education of the Republic of Belarus and Indian Ambassador at the Republic of Belarus.

Industry Internship was organized at Minsk Tractor Works, Adani, Amkodor, Niva Holding and Atlant companies between January 19 to March 30,2018.

Closing address was given by the Dr. Valery Golubovsky , Rector – RIPO Belarus,  Dr. Arkady, Former Rector, Vice Rector –RIPO Belarus regarding the first internship experiences with Indian students. Mr. Manish Vig, Founder World 1 solutions, addressed the gathering regarding his expertise and experience in the collobaration between India and Belarus.

University of Albama in HuntsVille(UAH)

BNMIT  has entered into a Collaboration Arrangement with  University of Albama in HuntsVille(UAH) to offer MBA and student exchange programs and internships abroad for BNMIT MBA students.

1st batch of 10 students visited UAH in July 2012 for 4- week.
