Dr. Mukund Sharma is a Postgraduate in Management with a PhD in Finance from University of Mysore. He comes with more than a decade of diverse teaching and research experience. Dr. Sharma’s area of research revolves around International Finance, Taxation, and Capital Market. His doctoral research in International Financial Management analysed the currency exposure management practices followed by business enterprises in India. His research interest also encompasses but is not restricted to the capital market, housing finance, and banking. His extensive research in the field of finance and banking has culminated in nine textbooks. A book authored by him “Banking and Financial Services” is recommended by VTU and few other Universities. Dr. Sharma continues to write on related topics to enable easy understanding of the subject by students pursuing Finance specialization.

Dr. Mukund Sharma regularly conducts training programs for executives in the industry and has also executed funded research projects for Wipro Mission 10X. He is also a travel aficionado and enjoys exploring new places in his spare time.
