Memorandum of Understanding between BNMIT & Spectrum Tools Pvt Ltd

A MoU was signed between B N M Institute of Technology, Bengaluru and Spectrum Tools Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru on 18th day of January 2021 at Spectrum Tools Pvt Ltd, Pete Channappa Industrial Estate, Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru.

The MoU was signed by Dr Krishnamurthy G, Principal, BNMIT on behalf of BNMIT and Mr Sudarshan V, Managing Director, Spectrum Tools Pvt Ltd in the presence of Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni, Additional Director, BNMIT, Prof. Eishwar N. Maanay, Dean, Administration, BNMIT, Dr B S Anil Kumar, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BNMIT and Dr Vijayashree, Head, IEDC, BNMIT.

Spectrum Tools Pvt Ltd is a full-service high-precision Machined Product Manufacturer, specialized in complex and high-value-added parts and Sub-assemblies. Design and Development of Tools for Precision Engineering Industries is our forte. Over the years, it has evolved to be a premier player in the field of Design, Mould Making, Moulded Part Production, Sub-Assemblies and Machined parts. Both the parties entered into this agreement with their mutual intentions and wish to cooperate with each other for mutual benefits in the field of Research and Technology. During the MoU, the team from BNMIT including Dr S. Y. Kulkarni and Prof Eishwar N. Maanay visited the industry and Mr Sudarshan introduced to different domains of production at spectrum.

M.O.U with Maltown Electric Company

In pursuant of providing continuous quality technical education to the stake holders, we at B.N.M. I.T are making endless efforts to reach the goals set by ourselves to be on par with the best Technical & Management institutes in the country. In this regard to improve Industry Institution Interaction to the next level for the benefit of stake holders such as students, parents, faculty industry and society in general, we have an M.O.U with Maltown Electric Company on 11th Jan 2021.

Maltown Electric Company is one among the eight companies that are run by group of 4 illustrious Industrial lists one among them is Sri. Murali who is the Financial Director to all eight companies and Founder Managing Director for some of them. His son Mr. Sharath Chandhra basically a Mechanical Engineering Graduate in the CEO of Maltown Industries and M/s Sharath Technologies with whom the MOU has been made.

To make note of the Facilities and opportunities available for the stake holders at the industry particularly for Students and Faculties we were invited for the industry visit on 22nd  Feb 2021   for their sister concern Multi Link Company located near Hosur, Dharmapuri (Dist) which is 1 1/2 HR drive from Bangalore.

Basically this company’s major product is Electronic charger for all leading 2 wheelers. The company is spread around 25 acres with built up area of around 20000 sq ft. It has more than 500 skilled employees along with around 20 engineers from different domains.

From BNMIT, 9 people have visited the industry lead by our beloved additional director Dr. S.Y. Kulkarni & our beloved dean Prof. Eishwar N Mannay.

We were well received by the H.R. head of the company along with Mr. Sharath Chandhra who have all the way has come from Corporate office, Bangalore and Hassan industry respectively, further we had a wonderful person Mr..Dhananjay, plant  in-charge to guide us throughout our stay at the plant. They have skilled workers with sophisticated special machines at an highly hygienic environment. With this MOU we have an opportunity to have interaction with all their eight companies in and around including their base at abroad as well.

The most satisfying part from this MoU is that, all their group of companies is that they are into all the three major branches of engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics & Electronic &Communication), which our college is offering.

Memorandum of Understanding with Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF)

BNMIT – ED Cell signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NTTF for the betterment of students on 12th November, 2019 where skill development activities will be conducted and students will be prepared to face the world after their successful training and graduation.
