Dr. L. Vijayashree is heading Innovations at BNMIT Campus. She has 4 years of industry experience and 19 years of academic experience including administration of Management Department at PG level.
She is heading various portfolio of innovations which includes,
Chief Coordinator- New Gen IEDC, DST Grant of Rs. 2.87 Crores, Department of Science & Technology, GoI
President – Institution Innovation Council (IIC, MHRD. GoI)
– Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA)
Head of – Entrepreneurship Development Cell,
– Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR),
– Start Ups,
– Experiential Entrepreneurship Programmes
(Design Thinking Certificate Programmes),
– International Internships,
– National Innovation Start up Policy (NISP) , MHRD, GoI.
She has conducted various programmes like Panel discussions, E-Week, Workshops, Express Talks, student development programmes, Entrepreneurship awareness programmes, Innovative Project Lab competitions, Seminars, Real time Experiences for boosting the energy of students towards entrepreneurship. These Entrepreneurship development programmes have been conducted in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), GoI for faculty members and students across India. She has facilitated the collaborative activities between AICTE, National Entrepreneurship Network(NEN), FKCCI, MSME, VTPC, AWAKE with BNMIT.
